My name is Clarke Towson and I'm the Chief Executive Officer of INTJ.

INTJ is a High Performance Computing Boutique Specialist Recruitment and Contracting Agency. Based in the suburb of Spotswood, my goal is to provide you with HPC specific recruitment and contracting solutions.

I know that as an employer you demand the best HPC candidates and my goal is to identify the best and brightest in Australia and provide them to you as contractors.

HPC is a very difficult area in which to find suitably qualified candidates with the raw IQ, educational background in science & technology as well as the hands on technical skills in programming and system administering large multiple node compute clusters. My goal is to secure candidates on my books that are highly intelligent and have built up time and developed skills administering HPC systems. I'm working hard to find candidates that have extensive Linux skills gained on the job administering some of Australia's largest HP and Cray supercomputer clusters in some of Australia's biggest and well known science, technology and educational institutions.

It is my intent to identify candidates that have extensive knowledge of Cray, HPE and IBM Supercomputers. I'm looking for technical people that will make excellent system administrators due to their superior skill-set in Linux coupled with their understanding of job scheduling systems like torque, pbs and slurm and file system knowledge administering parallel file systems like Lustre and GPFS. I'm specifically looking for candidates with a programming background who can program in C, C++ or Fortran. These programming skills can be further developed on the job in consultation with your existing HPC team members to include parallel programming using the Open or Intel MPI.

The candidates I'm looking to work with will understand scientific and high performance computing and will be well trained and qualified to support the needs of scientists working with software like ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM, Pointwise, FieldView, Tecplot and Ls-Dyna and should be able to assist with OpenMPI programming. They will have experience supporting these products as well as skills in administering Flexnet License Manager. My candidates will also have a background in change management and they will understand the necessity of change and configuration management in complex scientific corporate or academic computing environments.

I carefully screen my candidates and I will select only the best and brightest with a degree in the hard sciences mandatory. Most of our my applicants will in all probability have either a degree or higher in HPC or in Computer and Mathematical Science. My reputation is paramount and I will only put forward candidates that I believe will make an outstanding contribution to your business.
